Firewire cable and the free leaf capture software that's about it.

Would I be able to shoot tethered into Capture One?
Another question has been hovering over my head is the benefit of getting a RZ67 pro II D body versus pro II with digital backs. Would there be a significant advantage to go down that route for whatever the extra cost there might be?
Thanks for your patience, Frank. Please feel free to PM me to shut up :p

People can ask whatever they want, otherwise I would not be here The D is nice if you want to loose one of the cables but to be honest it's a waste of money in 90% of the cases, the cable used is a very small wakeup cable and it's not in the way in any way. Also the D will drain the battery of the camera with certain backs. You can shoot tethered in CO5 next version but only with the Aptus II backs, but there will be more news on that when CO5 next version is released.

Thank you very much Frank... Let me ask you as a novice in MF... With the Mamiya... How do you focus for example in the model's eye for example? I have many focus points in my Nikon but in the Mamiya I think you can just focus in the center of the screen... Do you move the camera and recompose the scene? Regards

Same as with my other cameras, center focus point, recompose and shoot. EXCEPT when using the T&S than I will have to do it all manually without help.

Anyway do you think it is easy to make focus this way? Thank you very much Same as with my other cameras, center focus point, recompose and shoot. EXCEPT when using the T&S than I will have to do it all manually without help.

It's something that I feel is natural. Center focus point is the best/most sensitive. And there is never a focus point that's always in the right position so why not choose the center always and work from there. It's VERY quick when you get used to it, and it works.

I won't open another thread since I have a few questions related to the RZ. I'm planning to get an RZ67 soon (yes Frank, it's your fault) but: 1) I'd like to buy only one lens for start. What would you suggest? 180, 140 macro or 110? (for studio portrait use) 2) I'll be shooting film until I have enough funds to get a cheap digital back. Frank, do you have any example of film shots somewhere? Thank you

Hi, I really can't give you a one size fits all answer with regard to lenses. But please look at www.keh.com for the prices, most lenses are app 200 US. I LOVE the 180mm for portrait work but I can move back a lot so I can also shoot full body with the 180. If your space is limited the 110mm is great, if you need very close shots the Macro is stunning. So it all depends on the area you are using. On film samples, I don't have full resolution files online but I do have some webversions:

Thank you Frank, awesome shots! I'm constantly monitoring keh.com and it's impressive how cheap these things got. I can move back a lot too, I can shoot full lenght at 70mm on the 1dmk3 that's approximately like the 180mm on the rz. I'll definitely go for the 180 and maybe add the 110 as well, but the 140 is also tempting.

If you shoot film it's indeed doable with the 180mm. When using digital remember there is a considerable crop on the RZ.

That won't be an issue, since I'll be shooting film at first. But I'm thinking to get a 110mm also, just in case
